To install an additional hard drive in the back of the unit, proceed as follows:
1. Turn off the unit, unplug the power cable and open the unit as described
2. Configure the disk drives for two-disk operation. Only the master drive on
the first ISA interface (primary) can be booted (see Product Information
Bulletin).
3. Disconnect the 40-pin IDE interface cable and the power cable from the
disk drive.
4. Screw the disk drive into the disk drive block with the 4 screws. Only screws
sent with the disk drive may be used.
5. Reinstall the disk drive block and screw it together with three screws
inside and one on the back of the unit.
6. Plug the 40-pin IDE interface cable and the power cable into the disk
drive block.
7. Close the cover and switch on the unit again.
8. Register the disk drive with the help of the automatic disk drive
identification in the SETUP program (see Chapter 5).

Caution
Risk of damage!
The electronic components on the printed circuit boards are extremely sensitive
to electrostatic discharge. When handling the boards or cards, you must follow
the guidelines for electrostatically sensitive components (ESD guidelines at the
end of this book), otherwise the module or device may be damaged.
