PG 760 Programming Device

Please observe the following rules before opening the unit:
S
Before you disconnect the power supply cable, discharge any electrostatic
charge on your body. You can do this by touching the metal mounting
plate for the interfaces on the rear panel of the unit.
S
Discharge any electrostatic charge from tools that you are using.
S
Wear a grounding wrist-strap if you are handling components.
S
Leave components and modules in their packing until you are ready to
install them.
S
Disconnect the PG 760 from its power supply and remove the battery
before plugging in or removing any modules or components.
S
Only touch components and modules on their edges. Above all, do not
touch the connecting pins and printed conductors.
S
Never operate the PG 760 with the cover open.
For undoing combi TORX, normal or Phillips screws, use the appropriate
screwdriver.
Open your PG 760 as follows:
1. Switch off the PG 760, pull out the power supply connector and remove
all connecting cables from the unit.
2. Place your programming device onto the right side on a flat, horizontal
surface. All components are then accessible from above.
3. Loosen both the front casing screws by about 1 cm.
4. Hold the front of the casing on either side, lift it and slide it back slightly.
5. Lift off the casing.
