Procedure

An example procedure for the standalone variant is explained below:
1. Insert the "SIMATIC Process Control System; PCS 7" DVD in the DVD drive.
2. Run the "SETUP.exe" installation program.
3. Select the setup language and click "Next".
4. Close all programs and click "Next".
5. Read the product instructions and click "Next".
6. Accept the license conditions and click "Next".
7. Select the setup type "Install" and click "Next".
8. Enter the user information and click "Next".
9. Select the package installation and click "Next".
10.Select the program package and click "Next".

If, for example, you want to select the OpenPCS 7 station without OS client, click on

OpenPCS 7".
