Notice

Input delay

Depending on the processor usage and the current hard disk activity, the system
load may increase temporarily during a disk failure due to synchronization
procedures. In the worst case, operator inputs will be processed via keyboard and
touchscreen with delay.

Notice

BIOS messages during startup

During the first hot restart / warm restart after a hard disk failure or after installing
a new hard disk (service purposes), the RAID BIOS informs you that there is no
more RAID functionality available and offers equivalent operating options. The
following startup of the operating system is carried out after acknowledgement.
This requires a connected keyboard or a keyboard unit. In the RAID BIOS this
”Halt On Error” function can be set to ”disable”. The system then ignores this stop.

8.3.3

Installing and Operating the Burner Software

A burner software is not installed in the delivery condition. You will find instructions
on installing and operating the burner software on the supplied CD ROM for the
burner software.
