Exclusive PCI hardware interrupt
Applications demanding a high-performance interrupt require a high-speed
hardware interrupt reaction. In order to allow high-speed reaction of the hardware,
the PCI HW interrupt may be used only by one resource. This can be forced by
appropriate setting in the system BIOS.
Setting up a reserved interrupt on the device
For the PCI slots 1 and 2 reserved interrupts can be used and set.
With the factory setting of Box PC 620 only at PCI slot 1 a reserved interrupt can
be used and set. To set a reserved interrupt at slot 2, you first need to disable the
Cardbus in the BIOS. This makes the PCI interrupt line B exclusively available for
slot 2.
