Application
The Multifunctional Transducer SICAM T 7KG966 is
used for the acquisition of measured values in power
supply systems. It is used in 1-phase systems, in 3-wire
and 4-wire systems.
The measurements are obtained from the alternating
quantities of current and voltage supplied to the AC
inputs. Without using external voltage and current
transformers, the device can process rated input AC
voltages up to V
ph-N
= 400 V (max. 347 V for UL) and
V
ph-ph
= 690 V (max. 600 V for UL) and rated input AC
currents up to 5 A. Depending on the device model, the
input circuits for voltage measurement are designed as
voltage dividers or galvanically isolated.
Once the input values have been established, they are
output as digital data via the respective interfaces or as
analog values via the DC analog outputs. The DC
analog outputs offer several options for the output of
measured values:
Direct currents: -20 mA to 20 mA, 0 mA to 20 mA and
4 mA to 20 mA,
Direct voltages: -10 V to 10 V and 0 V to 10 V.
These values are distributed depending on device type
at the DC analog outputs or transferred about the
interfaces to a peripheral equipment as digital data.
To communicate with the control center and other
peripheral equipment, the device features an Ethernet
interface, and if installed in the device model, an RS485
interface.
The integrated web server allows the user to configure
the parameters via HTML pages using a web browser
with protocol Modbus TCP or IEC 61850 from the
connected PC.
The 2 binary outputs can be parameterized by the user,
for example for status information.
