rf dot11a-radio-
profile
Enables the 5 GHz RF configuration sub-mode

40MHZ-
intolerance
Controls whether or not APs using this radio
profile will advertise intolerance of 40 MHz oper-
ation.

Disabled
beacon-interval
<interval>
Enter the Beacon period for the AP in millisec-
onds. When enabled, the 802.11 beacon man-
agement frames are transmitted by the access
point at the specified interval.

cell-size-
reduction
<reduction>
The cell size reduction feature allows you man-
age dense deployments and to increase overall
system performance and capacity by shrinking
an APs receive coverage area. It helps to mini-
mize co-channel interference and optimizes
channel reuse. The possible range of values for
this feature are 0-55 dB.
NOTE: This value should be changed if the net-
work is experiencing performance issues.
The default 0 dB reduction allows the radio to
retain its current default Rx sensitivity value.
Values from 1 dB - 55 dB reduce the power level
that the radio can hear by that amount. If you
configure this feature to use a non- default value,
you must also reduce the radio’s Tx power to
match its new Rx power level. Failure to match a
device’s Tx power level to its Rx power level can
result in a configuration that allows the radio to
send messages to a device that it cannot hear.

csa-count
<count>
Configures the number of channel switching
announcements that must be sent before switch-
ing to a new channel.
This allows associated clients to recover grace-
fully from a channel change.

csd-override
Most transmissions to HT stations are sent
through multiple antennas using CSD. When you
enable the CSD Override parameter, CSD is
disabled and only one antenna transmits data,
even if they are being sent to high-throughput
stations. This enables interoperability for legacy
or high-throughput stations that cannot decode
802.11n CDD data. This option is disabled by
default, and should only be enabled under the
supervision of technical support. Use this feature
to turnoff antenna diversity when the AP must
support legacy clients such as Cisco 7921g VoIP
phones, or older 802.11g clients (e.g. IntelCen-
trino clients).
NOTE: Enabling this feature can reduce overall
throughput rates.
