9.6 Import/export trend definitions

Trend definitions can be exported and imported as a file.
The following buttons Export

and Import

are available to this end. The export

is individual for each trend channel.

Export/Import includes only the trend definitions. The logged trend data is neither
exported nor imported.

1. Under primary navigation, select

File transfer

menu (see Section 9.1

"Overview").

2. On the desired trend channel, click

Export

symbol.

3. In the following window, select

Save

. The views differs by browser.

The file name is formed as follows:
- trend

.trx (with

representing trend channel 1…5).

The trend definition can be exported during trending.
On compatibility with ACS, see Section 9.7.1 "ACS offline trend compatibility".

A request is displayed to delete existing trend data if the trend channel was
previously used.
