Operating Instructions
The appliance is not intended for use
by young children or infirmed persons
without supervision.
Young children should be supervised to
ensure they do not play with the appliance.
The appliance may only be connected
and operated by a qualified technician.
Dispose of packaging materials in an
environmentally friendly manner.
Operate the extractor hood only with
screwed on lamps.
Never operate the extractor hood
without a grease filter.
Overheated fat or oil can easily ignite.
Food which is being prepared in fat or oil,
e.g. chips, must never be left unattended.
Do not flambé under the extractor
hood.
Risk of grease filter catching fire

catching fire from rising flames.
Certain restrictions apply if the extrac-
tor hood is to be installed over a fireplace
which burns solid fuel (coal, wood, etc.)
(see Installation instructions).
Always use gas hotplates correctly.
Important:
The flames of the gas hotplates must
always be covered with a cooking utensil.
The intensive heat development of the
naked gas flames could damage the

extractor hood.
The kitchen vapours are best elimina-
ted by:

Switching on the extractor hood
at the start of cooking.
❑
Switching off the extractor hood
several minutes after cooking has
ended.
