Setting the display backlight

Depending on whether or not the handset

is in the charging cradle, you can activate

or deactivate the backlight. If the base sta-

tion is turned on, the display is perma-

nently dimmed.

Please note:

With the

setting, the standby time of the

handset can be significantly reduced.

You can also set the call volume, the ringer

tones and the advisory tones via the menu.
