5.1 Transmission speeds supported
The transmission speed is set with the SIMATIC STEP 7 configuration software. For
permitted values, refer to Table 8-1 CP 342-5 (Page 43) and Table 8-2 CP 342-5 FO
(Page 44)

The permitted cable length must be kept to depending on the transmission speed. Refer to
