12.4 Connection to GW-20
This type of connection applies only to two level network configurations of the type
shown in Fig. 5 and Fig. 6.
Fig. 26 shows how to connect the GW-21 UARTs numbered 3,4,5 and 6 on the screw
terminal block to the GW-20.
Fig. 26 shows how to connect the GW-21 UARTs 1 and 2 on the two DB9 connectors
of the connection board to the GW-20.

All connections should be done using a shielded cable and D connectors with metallic
shells. Fasten the connector to the back plane of the gateway using the screws on the
connector shell.
