4.2 Measure and crop reductions
CAUTION
There is a risk of injury from sharp edges
Cropping metal components creates sharp edges. This presents a danger of
cutting injuries.
• Wear protective gloves
• Deburr the sawn edges of the components after cropping.

Move all components into the
release position.

Align the main faceplate to the
PZ milling [1].

Mark the top projection [2] of
the faceplate and drive rod.

Crop the projection at the mar-
ked positions at a right angle
and deburr the sawn edges.

Mark the bottom projection [3]
of the faceplate and drive rod.

Crop the projection at the mar-
ked positions of the faceplate
and drive rod at a right angle
and deburr the sawn edges.
