Specification of terminal connections:
▶ Conductor cross section (solid)2.5 to 10 mm²
▶ Conductor cross section (stranded)2.5 to 6 mm²
▶ Connection method: spring-cage connection with push-in technology (handling:
see page 43 .
If a shielded motor cable longer than 5 m is used, additional interference
suppression of the line is required: The motor line can be led with 11 wind‐
ings trough a ferrite core, for example (ferrite core: R 63/38/25, Al =
15150 nH; article no. 13163110) The maximum permissible length of a
shielded motor cable is 25 m.

An external ballast resistor is connected between pin 1 and pin 3. When the
internal ballast resistor is to be used, pin 1 and pin 2 of connector X63 must
be bridged.
