Once assembly is complete, test run the machine to
ensure it is properly connected to power and safety
components are functioning properly.
If you find an unusual problem during the test run,
immediately stop the machine, disconnect it from power,
and fix the problem BEFORE operating the machine again.

SERVICE
section of this
manual can help.
To test run machine, do these steps:
1.
Clear all setup tools away from machine.
2.
Connect machine to power supply.
3.
Turn machine
ON
, verify motor operation, then
turn machine
OFF
. Motor should run smoothly and
without unusual noises.
4.
Move spindle forward/reverse switch (located on
motor junction box) to REV position.
5.
Turn machine
ON
, verify motor operation, then turn
machine
OFF
. Motor should run smoothly in reverse,
and without unusual noises.
6.
Move spindle rotation switch to FOR position.
7.
Remove ON/OFF switch disabling key (see
Figure 15
).
8.
Try to start machine with paddle switch. Machine
should not start.
— If machine does not start, switch disabling feature
is working as designed. Test Run is complete.
— If machine does start, immediately stop machine.
Switch disabling feature is not working correctly.
This safety feature must work properly before
proceeding with regular operations. Call Tech
Support for help.
