The rear work stop assemblies must slide smoothly in
order to achieve accurate measurements when shearing.
Clean the rear work stop support rods with mineral
spirits when you have any trouble adjusting the rear
work stop position. Apply a few drops of oil to the
locations shown in
Figure.25
on each assembly.
