ISO speed

Explanation

Auto

ISO speed is automatically adjusted depending on the shooting situation

100 - 3200

When the ISO speed is raised, bright images can be taken even in a dark place.

However, image noise increases.

● ISO speed

To adjust the ISO speed.
The ISO speed can be adjusted only in Face mode and in
Tele macro mode, in which the TTL light adjustment is used.
The ISO speed is set at 100 for all modes using the
FlashMatic light control.

● AE (Auto Exposure) mode

To change the AE mode.
The AE mode can be adjusted only in Face mode and in
Tele macro mode, in which the TTL light adjustment is used.

AE mode

Explanation

FlashMatic (FM)

The camera automatically measures the distance to the subject and adjusts the light

intensity to control exposure.

Center weighted metering

The camera evaluates the lighting conditions of the subject centered in the viewfinder.

Spot metering

The camera evaluates the necessary exposure only of the center of the subject.

Average metering

The camera evaluates the light conditions of the entire image to set an optimum picture

exposure.
