4. Connecting a Bluetooth Audio Source – To listen to a music source via Bluetooth, press the BT
Pair but ton on the rear panel of the Lef t Speaker. Go to the “Bluetooth Devices” list on the music
source and select “Shinola Bookshelf Speakers.” Listen for the audible tone to ensure the music
source has paired with the speakers.
5. Standby Mode – The speakers are equipped with Standby Mode and will go to sleep if no audio is
played for 30 minutes. To wake the speakers, press the SOURCE but ton on the rear panel of the Lef t
Speaker.
NOTE: The Bluetooth word mark and logos are registered trademarks owned by the Bluetooth SIG, Inc.
and any use of such marks by Shinola /Detroit , LLC is under license. Other trademarks and trade names
are those of their respective owners.
Maintenance and Care
CARE: Shinola does not recommend using any solvents or liquids to clean the Bookshelf Speakers.
Instead, please wipe down the speakers with a clean dr y cloth.
Limited Warranty
Ever y set of Shinola Speakers is warranted for three (3) years against manufacturing defects under the terms
and conditions of our Limited Warrant y as described herein. Agreement with the terms of this limited warrant y
is a condition of your purchase. Any defective component (subject to the exclusions set for th below) will be
repaired or replaced by Shinola . If we cannot repair your speakers and the exact model is not available for
replacement , a model of equal value will be provided. A copy of the receipt or your completed online product
registration is required as proof of purchase.
THIS LIMITED WARR ANT Y DOES NOT COVER ANY DAMAGE OR OPER ATIONAL FAILURE CAUSED BY:
Any thing not within Shinola’s control. Specifically, this warrant y shall not cover damage caused by improper
handling, use or care on the par t of the owner or any third par t y (other than any authorized Shinola sales or
ser vice personnel), including, but not limited to connecting a pre-amplified power source to the speaker input .
An accident of any kind, negligence, or any intentional act by the owner or any third par t y.
ADDITIONAL E XCLUSIONS; VOIDABILIT Y
This Limited Warrant y shall not apply and shall be void with respect to (I) speakers with serial numbers (located
on the back plate) that have been defaced or altered or (II) any repair, alteration, or modification made by
persons other than Shinola personnel or a Shinola authorized dealer or ser vice provider.

Ensure device main power is on and volume knob is in the

Turn the volume knob a ¼ turn counter clockwise. Still
bad? Double check the source, it ’s possible the source
is a low qualit y digital file or old vinyl. If that is not the
