Connecting the Speaker Cables
– Ensure the Power Switch on the rear panel of the Lef t Speaker
is in the “Off ” position. Connect the RED (+) and BL ACK (-) terminals from the Lef t Speaker to the
corresponding terminals on the Right Speaker using the included Banana Cables. Check that the
polarit y is correct: red to red and black to black.
Inser t the supplied AC Cable into the AC Input on the rear panel of the Lef t Speaker and plug the
other end into a wall outlet .
The Shinola Bookshelf Speakers can handle AC input voltages from ~100 -240VAC.
NOTE: The Shinola Bookshelf Speakers contain a power amplifier and do not require a receiver.
Connecting any amplified power sources to the device inputs may cause damage not covered by
the warranty.

Connecting an Audio Source
– To listen to a music source, use the appropriate cable to connect
the source to the speakers through the inputs on the rear panel of the Lef t Speaker. The speaker
has t wo analog inputs (3.5 Auxiliar y and RCA), t wo digital inputs (S/PDIF and USB Type-C) and
Bluetooth. For Bluetooth connectivit y, follow the instructions below.
Press the Power Switch to the “On” position on the rear panel of the Lef t Speaker. Listen for the
audible tone to ensure the speakers are powered on.
Using the SOURCE but ton located on the rear panel of the Lef t Speaker, select the desired audio
source. The LED light will indicate the source that is selected.
