The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to aler t the users to the presence
of impor tant operating and maintenance (ser vicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the
product .
The arrowhead lightning flash symbol within an equilateral triangle is to aler t the user to the
presence of insulated dangerous voltage enclosed in the product that may be of suf ficient
magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to humans.
The symbol with the crossed-out wheelie bin indicates that the product must not be disposed of
with normal household waste. Instead, it is your responsibilit y to dispose of your waste equipment
by arranging to return it to a designated collection point for the recycling of electrical and
electronic equipment . By separating and recycling your waste equipment at the time of disposal,
you will help conser ve natural resources and ensure that the equipment is recycled in a manner
that protects human health and the environment .

Unpacking the Box
Your Shinola Bookshelf Speakers were carefully tested and inspected prior to packaging and shipment .
Af ter your speakers have been unpacked, please inspect them for any damage. In the unlikely event your
speakers have any damage, please contact the shipping company immediately.
Shinola recommends you save the original packaging materials and carton should you need to
ship the speakers out in the future.
