Do not adjust the carburettor unless necessary.
To adjust the carburettor proceed as follows:
■
Turn the low speed mixture adjuster (L)
and high speed mixture adjuster (H)
counterclockwise to stop.
CAUTION
When starting, idle speed adjuste (T)
should be adjusted not to rotate the
saw chain.
When there is some trouble with the
carburettor, contact your dealer.
Check before every use.
■
Close choke.
Turn cleaner cover knob anticlockwise with
hand and remove air cleaner cover and air
¿ lter.
Brush off dust lightly, or clean with
compressed air, or replace the air ¿ lter.
Check periodically.
■
Do not allow dust to enter fuel tank.
■
A clogged ¿ lter will cause dif ¿ culty in
starting engine or abnormalities in engine
performance.
■
Pick up the fuel ¿ lter through fuel inlet port
with a piece of steel wire or the like.
■
When the ¿ lter is dirty, replace it.
Check periodically.
■
Do not allow dust to enter oil tank.
■
Clogged oil ¿ lter will affect the normal
lubricating system.
DANGER
Petrol and fuel are extremely
À ammable.
Extreme caution is required, when
handling petrol or fuel.
■
Start engine and allow it to run at high idle
until warm.
■
Turn the idle speed adjuster (T)
counterclockwise until the saw chain stops
moving.
■
Turn idle speed adjuster (T)
counterclockwise an additional 1 2 turn.
■
Accelerate to full throttle to check for
smooth transition from idle to full throttle.
Air Filter
Fuel Filter
■
When the inside of the fuel tank is dirty, it
can be cleaned by rinsing the tank out with
petrol.
Oil Filter
■
Pick it up through oil ¿ lling hole with a
piece of steel wire or the like.
■
If the ¿ lter is dirty, wash it in petrol or
replace it.

When the inside of the oil tank gets dirty, it
can be cleaned by rinsing the tank out with
petrol.
■ Dry it completely before installation.
■
Reinstall air ¿ lter and cover.
