19. Using PLEXTALK as a SD card drive.
You can connect PLEXTALK to a PC using the USB (Universal Serial
Bus) 2.0 interface to use it as an external card drive. This chapter
describes how to connect and disconnect PLEXTALK to computers
that have a range of operating.
19.1. What can PLEXTALK be used for when
connected to a PC?
With PLEXTALK connected as a card drive, you can:
Transfer recorded data from a SD card.
Transfer audio files, in Mp3 or Wave formats, from a PC to a
SD card, and listen to them using PLEXTALK.
NOTE: To use PLEXTALK as an external memory card drive, your
PC's operating system must be Windows XP or Vista.
19.2. Connecting PLEXTALK to a PC as an external
drive.
This section describes how to physically connect PLEXTALK to a PC.
If you have a PC with Windows XP or Vista, use the following
procedure to connect PLEXTALK:
Turn ON your PC system.
Turn PLEXTALK's power switch ON.
Connect the USB cable from PLEXTALK to the PC.
The PC recognizes PLEXTALK as an external memory card
drive automatically.
