5. Diagnostics

There are several ways one can check on the status and availability of ATC-3001.

5.1 Use Standard TCP/IP Utility Ping Command

From Windows

Start

menu, select

Run

and type in

“

ping <TCP Server IP address>

”

.

If the connection is established, the Reply messages are displayed, otherwise it will indicate Request
timed out (Figure 5.1).

5.2 Use DeviceView Configuration Utility Program

Use

DeviceView

configuration program that comes with the product CD or diskette to check on the

status of ATC-3001. The status and version can be read from the tool.

For example,
