Digital Quick Zoom
(Extend Zoom)
The digital quick zoom function allows you to
instantly zoom in on a subject. You can select
from among three digital quick zoom ranges,

Using Digital Quick Zoom

Press the CONTROL switch until
appears (Camera mode).

During recording, press the EXTEND
button (

• The zoom range indicator appears and
the subject is instantly magnified.
Notes:
• The picture quality decreases when the
Digital Quick Zoom is used.
• The Digital Quick Zoom cannot be used in the
digital zoom range or together with the
STRETCH or SLIM EFF. picture effects.

menu screen (see page 25).
