Registering the Cordless Handset
HANDSET?
After the initial charging,
the cordless handset
display shows:
To use the cordless handset,
you must first register it in the
machine. During registration,
the machine will assign the
handset a number.

On the machine, hold down
until the display at right appears.

Press on the machine.

Important: Be sure to complete Steps
3 through 5 below while the display at
right still appears on the machine.

On the cordless handset, hold down
until the display at right appears.

Press on the cordless handset.

Press on the cordless handset.
•
The cordless handset display will go dark while registration takes place.

When registration is finished, the
number assigned to the cordless
handset will appear as shown at right.
Note: If you take no action for one minute during the registration procedure,
the procedure will be canceled. In this case, start from Step 1 again.
