Problems and Solutions

The batteries do not
charge.

• Make sure the cordless handset is placed in the

cradle with the dial pad facing up.

• If you have a separate charger, make sure the AC

adapter is connected correctly to the charger and the
power outlet (see page 32). Make sure the cordless
handset is facing forward.

• Wipe the charger contacts with a cotton swab.

• Make sure the batteries are correctly inserted in the

cordless handset (see page 30).

• The batteries may need replacement (see page 151).

You hear beeps during a
call.

• You will hear beeps during a call and

will blink in

the display if the batteries are low. Place the cordless
handset in the charger (or cradle if applicable) and let
it recharge. If you hear beeps during a call and need
to continue the call, transfer the call to the machine
(see page 57).
