If you are on a Flash-type PBX and are storing a number for an outside line,
press

to insert a pause, and then enter the fax or
voice number. (When you dial the auto-dial number, you will automatically
dial out without the need to press the

If you are on a PBX that requires dialing a number to dial out and are
storing a number for an outside line, enter the number, press

insert a pause, and then enter the number of the receiving machine. (When
you dial the auto-dial number, you will automatically dial out without the
need to dial the number for an outside line.)

Enter a name by pressing number keys for each letter as shown in the
chart below. Up to 20 characters can be entered. (If you do not wish to
enter a name, go directly to Step 6.)

To enter two letters in succession that require the same key, press
