Next, mount the lower LCC mounting bracket to the main copier unit
using five M4 x 8 securingscrews.
The securing screw which had held the strip in place beneath the
lower right cover (removed in step 2) should be one of the five secur-
ing screws used to mount the lower LCC mounting bracket.
4. Hooking the large capacity tray to the main copier unit
Note: Be sure to remove the two paper tray securing screws before
hooking the large capacity tray to the main copier unit.
Hook the mounting fixtures on the large capacity tray to the projec-
tions on the lower LCC mounting bracket on the main copier unit.
5. Plugging in the large capacity tray’s connector
Plug the connector from the large capacity tray into the connector on
the main copier unit.
6. Pulling out the slide lock on the large capacity tray
Gently pull out the large capacity tray’s paper tray as far as it will go.
Remove the blue securing screw which holds the slide lock in place,
then pull the slide lock out as far as it will go.
7. Mounting the large capacity tray to the main copier unit
Insert the positioning bosses on the large capacity tray into the
positioning holes on the main copier unit.
Next, push the slide lock back to its original position and secure it
using the blue securing screw that was removed in step 6.

Securing the slide lock in this position locks the large capacity tray
to the main copier unit.
