Chapter 1: Getting Started

1.5 Turning the Device On or Off

After installing the SIM card and charging the battery, the device is ready to be turned on.

Turn the Device On or Off

Turn on the device

Press and hold the

Power

key until the device turns on.

Turn off the device

1. Press and hold the

Power

key until the Power

menu is displayed.

2. In the

Power

menu, tap

Power off

NOTE:

In the Power menu, tap

Emergency

to make an emergency phone call.

Restart the Device

1. Press and hold the

Power

key until the Power menu is displayed.

Restart

Switch the Device to Airplane Mode

Airplane mode temporarily disables wireless functions from cellular radio, Wi-Fi, and

Bluetooth.
1. Slide down from the top of the screen to open the

quick settings panel.

2. Drag the panel down to extend the quick settings panel, then slide to left until you

see the

Airplane mode

option. Tap

Switch the Device to Sleep Mode

Sleep mode helps to save power and extend battery life time.
While the screen is on, press the

Power

key. This will turn off the screen.

To wake the device from the sleep mode, pick up your phone or press the

Power

key.
