1.   With   the power off and the dust cup open, push 

the release button.

2.   While holding in the button, lift off the dust cup, 

then hand-wash it with soap and water only. Let 

parts air-dry fully before reinstalling.

Do not wash any parts or accessories in a dishwasher.

and the dust cup will drop open. 

2.  Wipe the screen inside the dust cup lightly with a 

dry cloth to remove dust and dirt.
