EMPTYING THE DUST CUP
IMPORTANT:
Unplug the power cord before performing any maintenance.
Hold dust cup over a bin and press the
empty-release latch on the bottom to empty
dust and debris into bin.
Pull up on
Dust Cup Release Latch
on the handle
and lift dust cup off pod.
Press
Top Empty Release Latch
to access
dust screen and remove built-up debris as
necessary.
CLEANING AND REPLACING THE FILTERS
Regularly rinse the filters to maintain your vacuum’s suction power.
To prevent damage from cleaning chemicals, rinse filters with cold water
only
. Allow all filters
to air-dry for at least 24 hours before reinstalling them to prevent liquid from being drawn into
electronic parts.
Pre-Motor (foam and felt):
With the dust cup removed, take out the
foam and felt filters and rinse them with
water only. Allow filter to air-dry completely
before reinstalling. Tap loose dirt off filters
between washes as needed.
CLEAN PRE-MOTOR FILTERS
EVERY MONTH
Post-Motor:
To access the
Post-Motor Filter
, pull the
latch under the filter cover and take off the
cover. Remove the filter and rinse it with
water only. Allow filter to air-dry completely
before reinstalling.
