Press POWER and push the surface selector to THICK CARPET/AREA RUG for the best setting for High Pile and Thick
Carpets, Area Rugs, and Specialty Carpets if the vacuum is difficult to push or pull due to high suction. This setting
produces reduced suction with motorized brush roll.

Press POWER and push the surface selector to CARPET/LOW PILE for the best setting for low pile and normal carpet
types. High suction with motorized brush roll. This is the default carpet setting.

Press POWER and push the surface selector to HARD FLOOR for the best setting for hard floors and accessories. High
suction and brush roll off.

Place your left foot gently on the floor nozzle and tilt the handle back to start cleaning. Note: The brushroll will only spin
once the vacuum is reclined back.
NOTE
: For deep cleaning per ASTM F 608 (embedded dirt in carpets) please set to CARPET/LOW PILE.
