BEFORE USE
1. Examine the machine for signs of transit damage. If damaged, call SGS
Customer Service immediately.
2. Avoid long air lines and slong supply lines (extensions).
3. Make sure the intake air is dry and dust free. Do not set up the
compressor in damp or wet rooms.
4. The compressor may only be used in suitable rooms, with good ventila-
tion and ambient temperature between 5° and 40° Celsius. There must
be no dust, acids, vapors, explosive or inflammable gases in the room.
5. Set up only on flat and stable surfaces.
6. Use flexible hoses in order to ensure proper airflow.
7. Supply hoses at pressures above 7 bar should be equipped with a safety
cable (e.g. a wire rope).
OPERATION
1. Attach a hose to the quick release coupler on the compressor and to an
air tool.
2. Turn the compressor on by lifting the on/off button. The compressor
will operate until the tank is fully pressurised before switching off. The
compressor will start again when the tank pressure drops.
3. Check the safety cut off valve is working correctly - pull on the ring to
release air. When you release the ring the air should stop. If the valve
does not operate correctly do not use the compressor.
4. Set the regulator to the correct pressure for the air tool (check in the air
tool manual). The output pressure is shown on the right gauge. The left
hand gauge shows the tank pressure.
1. Push down on the on/off switch to turn the compressor off.
2. Operate the air tool to depressurise the air hose.
3. Disconnect the tool from the hose.
4. Open the drain cock to remove any condensation from the compressor.
