2.0 Operation

Connect your pressure gas bottle, pressure reducing device
and pressure hose at the back side of the instrument.

All of the release switches are in a closed switching position
(down).
+
Finally open the pressure reducing device and set a pressure
of max. 1 bar.
2.1 Checking of Pump Capacity

Make a hose connection between the test instrument and test
(item 1).
+
Turn the air release switch (item 7) to:
down - for synthetic air
up - for fresh air.
+
Switch on the pump (if available) and read off the pump
performance (l/h) on the flow indicator (item 6) and enter
result into test record of your instrument (part of the Operating
Instructions).
2.2 Instruments with Test Gases 10 ppm CH

Testing of the pump performance must have been completed.
+
Leave pump running and adjust quantity of test gas with the
needle valve according to the read-off pump performance.
