3.1 Connection blocks
WARNING
Electric shock due to connecting or disconnecting plug connectors when voltage is
applied.
Severe or fatal injuries.
• Disconnect all supply voltages.
• Make sure that the device is de-energized.
• Never plug or unplug the plug connectors while they are energized.
INFORMATION
Some connections depend on the device design. For information regarding the type
of connection present at your device, refer to the device designation and the designa-
tions of the function unit on the nameplates. For information on the function units,
refer to chapter "Labels on the
GHYLFH
".
Connection [B] is only occupied if the device has an auxiliary axis connection. The
type designation contains the information if an auxiliary axis connection is present.

Make sure that the latches of the connections engage after you plugged the plug con-
nector into the connections.
