The  project  is  created.  Information  about  the  programs  and  data  in  the  project  is
displayed in the "Controller Organizer" (right-hand screen pane).

Configuring the EtherNet/IP™ scanner

In  the  "Controller  Organizer",  the  "I/O  Configuration"  folder  contains  all  the  hardware
modules that are responsible for communication with the PLC. An EtherNet/IP™ scan-
ner is used for communicating via Ethernet.

Proceed as follows:

You have created a new Logix Designer project.

1. Right-click to open the context menu of the backplane (1756 Backplane 1756-A7)

and enter a new hardware module.
