Clean the water bowl , the e gg hol d er an d li d
with a d a m p cloth .
How to use your egg boiler
F ill the m easurin g cup co m pletel y with –
col d water an d pour the m easure d
q uantit y into the water bowl .
P ierce the blunt en d of each e gg with the –
piercer ; this will re d uce the risk of the e gg s
crackin g d urin g boilin g.
P lace the e gg s into the hol d er , fi t the –
hol d er onto the water bowl an d put the
li d on .
U se the boilin g- ti m e control to select the –
d esire d d e g ree of har d ness :

Th e m arkin g s refer to m e d iu m- size e gg s . –
H owe v er , it is possible to a d just the d e g ree
of har d ness in fi nitel y, d epen d in g on the
nu m ber an d size of e gg s to be boile d.
Th e size of the e gg s to be use d can be –
selecte d un d erneath the s ym bols for the
boilin g- ti m e control : F or s m aller -
size d e gg s , use a settin g to the le ft of the
boilin g- ti m e control , an d a settin g to the
ri g ht for lar g er e gg s .
I f the e gg hol d er is co m pletel y full , the –
a d just m ent wheel shoul d be turne d a little
further to the ri g ht of the d esire d le v el of
har d ness .
Th e perfect d e g ree of har d ness v er y m uch –
d epen d s on in d i v i d ual taste ; shoul d the
e gg s turn out too so ft or too har d, tr y a
sli g htl y d i ff erent settin g ne x t ti m e .
I nsert the plu g into a suitable wall socket –
an d use the O n /Off switch to turn the e gg
boiler on . Th e in d icator li g ht co m es on .

S witch o ff the appliance . Th e in d icator –
li g ht g oes out . R e m o v e the plu g fro m the
wall socket .
O pen the li d. – Caution : when the li d is
opene d, hot stea m will escape .
R e m o v e the e gg hol d er with the e gg s –
fro m the bowl an d place it i mm e d iatel y
un d er col d runnin g water . N ote : if the
e gg s are not re m o v e d fro m the boiler an d
q uenche d un d er col d water i mm e d iatel y,
the y will continue to har d en .
L et the appliance cool d own an d pour out –
an y re m ainin g water .
