USING THE ANSWERING MACHINE
ON THE BASE
Your answering machine is ready with these settings:
Greeting message:“Hello, your call cannot
be taken at this moment, please leave your
message after the tone”. Answering machine
will pick up after 4 rings.
To Turn on The answering machine:
Press ANSWER ON/ OFF.
To play back messages:
The screen flashes the number of new
messages. If there is no new message, the
screen displays the number of old messages
on the machine
1. press
to play messages. Press
VOL
or
VOL
to adjust the volume level.
2. If you want to slow down the play-back
speed, press
SLOW
repeatedly to choose
SLOW1, SLOW 2, or NORMAL speed.
3. Press
SKIP
to skip to the next message.
4. Press
REPT
once to repeat the current
message or press
REPT
twice to return to
the previous message.
5. To pause the message being played, press
. To resume playing, press
again.
6. To stop message play back completely,
press and hold
for 2 seconds.
7. To erase the message being played, press
DELETE
.
To answer/inTercepT an incoming call
Press
TALK
to turn on the speskerphone.
Press
VOL
or
VOL
to adjust the volume. Press
TALK
again to hang up.
To seT up Time:
this is needed only if you like to time-stamp
all your messages; if not, you can skip these
steps.
1. Press and hold
TIME / MUTE
for 3 seconds.
2. Follow the voice prompts to set year; press
VOL
or
VOL
key to increase or decrease the
year.
3. Press
SKIP
to set Month, Day, Hour and
Minutes. After the Minutes set confirmation,
press
SKIP
to save and it will announce
the new date and time. If it is not correct,
repeat the above steps.
