POWER Button and Indicator
The power supply mode switches between ON and STANDBY
each time the button is pressed. The power supply mode can be
confirmed from the power indicator status.
Red: Standby
Green: ON
The standby mode is activated as soon as the power cord is
plugged into the power outlet.
To prevent unexpectedly loud volume, set the VOLUME knob
to the lowest setting.

Headphone Terminal
This terminal is for plugging in headphones. The volume can be
adjusted using the VOLUME knob.
The main speakers are muted when headphones are
connected.

AUX IN Terminal
This external input terminal is for connecting audio equipment,
for example. Use a stereo mini jack connector cable to connect
devices.
VOLUME, BASS, and TREBLE knob settings also affect the
input into the AUX IN terminal.
Use a cable without a resistor.

VOLUME Knob
Adjusts the volume for the entire system.

BASS Knob
Boosts or filters the low frequency range for the entire system.
Bass characteristics are flat (no amplification or filtering) when
the knob is in the center position.

TREBLE Knob
Boosts or filters the high frequency range for the entire system.
Treble characteristics are flat (no amplification or filtering) when
the knob is in the center position.

DC IN (Max. 24 V) Terminal
Used to connect the provided AC Adapter.

INPUT 1 and INPUT 2 Terminals
These are standard headphone connector terminals. They are
used to connect the line/level output from electronic musical
instruments, audio devices, and so on.

THROUGH OUT Terminals
These are standard headphone output terminals. The output
mixes the INPUT 1, INPUT 2, and AUX IN terminal input volumes.
VOLUME, BASS, and TREBLE knob settings do not affect the
output from the THROUGH OUT terminals.
Mounting the SonicBar to a Standard Series Stand
When mounted on a standard series stand, the mounting position
(forward or backward) and angle can be adjusted based on the given
operating environment. Decide the desired mounting position before
setting up the SonicBar.

The unit is mounted via mounting brackets attached to
each end.

Fasten the brackets in position [a] to mount the speaker
in the forward position or in position [b] to mount it in a
recessed position.

Use the bracket hooks to hang the speaker below the stand.

Keyboard holder
If a keyboard holder interferes with the brackets, remove the
keyboard holder before mounting the speaker.

Loosen the screws located toward the back to adjust the
angle.

When finished adjusting the angle, securely retighten the
screws.

Connect the AC adapter.
Connect the AC adapter to the speaker after connecting the
power cord.
Power Auto-OFF Function
If no input is detected for more than about four continuous hours, the
power supply automatically switches to the standby mode. To switch
it from standby back to the ON mode, switch the power OFF and ON.
In some cases, the auto-OFF function reacts to ambient noise, for
example, is not activated even when no music is being played.
How to Disable the Power Auto-OFF Function
1. With the power supply ON, hold down the POWER button for
at least 3 seconds.
2. Then confirm that the POWER indicator flashes three times
after your finger is released.
The auto-OFF function is enabled again after the power has
been switched OFF.
