7.2 How to control access using the PolaRx5S

Firewall

You can control access to the PolaRx5S using the receiver

rewall in the

Firewall

window.

By default, all Ethernet and WiFi ports are open (i.e. those de

ﬁ

ned on the

IP Ports

menu).

n the example shown in Figure 7-7, Ethernet ports 2101, 2102 and 2103 are accessible but

only from devices with the

P address 84.199.9.148. Similarly, all WiFi ports are open but only

those from

P 84.199.9.148.

Please note that the

ﬁ

rewall settings do not apply when connecting to the web interface

using USB.

n the case of WiFi,

ﬁ

rewall settings only apply when the receiver is in WiFi client

mode.
