4 TROUBLESHOOTING
If the problems are not listed, please contact your local CCTV service professional.
1. The DVR cannot boot up normally.
Possible reasons:
A.
The power supply is not correct.
B.
Bad power supply connection.
C.
Switch power supply is damaged.
D.
Firmware update failed to install correctly.
E.
The hard disk is damaged or the hard disk cable connections are broken.
F.
The front panel is damaged.
G.
The main board of the DVR is damaged.
2. The DVR reboots automatically or stops working after a few minutes of
booting up.
Possible reasons:
A.
The input voltage is not stable or too low.
B.
The hard disk is damaged or the hard disk cable connections are broken.
C.
The power of the switch power supply is low.
D.
Camera video signal is not stable.
E.
DVR fan is malfunctioning, or heat radiation vents are blocked by dust.
F.
The
DVR’s hardware is damaged.
3. System cannot detect hard disk.
Possible reasons:
A.
The hard disk
’s power supply line is not connected.
B.
The hard disk
drive’s cables are damaged.
C.
The hard disk is damaged.
D.
The SATA port on the main board is damaged.
