5.3. Relays
SensAlarm Flex includes four (4) standard SPDT 5A relays
to provide the user with local functional controls. An additional
four (4) relays can be included optionally. Relays are configured
by default as de-energized and non-latching, but can be
configured independently per application requirements, and wired
in either Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC) states.
Relays are numbered from top to bottom, with one (1) through
four (4) on the left relay board, and if installed five (5) through
eight (8) on the right relay board. Each relay has an independent
LED that lights when the relay is energized. Note that if the relay
is configured normally energized, the LED will turn off during an
activation, and the state opposite of the wiring position.
