7. Playback
7.1. PLAYBACK FROM DISC
Press OPEN/CLOSE and enter the disc into the disc compartment with the printed side of
the disc facing up. Close the compartment.
The player will detect the disc type (or will refuse to play the disc) and automatically
determines the playback method. Discs that contain parts of programs are played and
the player responds based on the contents of the disc. A typical example are DVD discs,
which upon inserting load the menu or automatically begin playing the contents of the
disc.
NOTICE
Keep the discs clean and free of scratches. Damaged discs can result in errors in
the picture or audio, or the player can refuse playing them.
Do not attempt to play discs of incompatible shapes and sizes other than the
standard 12 cm and 8 cm discs.
Do not insert discs that are damaged, cracked, wavy etc. The high rotation speed
can result in generating noise, breaking the disc or damaging the player.
Insert discs into the proper disc slot based on the size of the disc.
7.2. PLAYBACK FROM USB
Plug the USB drive into the USB port. Press [USB] to open the menu to select between
DVD and the connected USB drive. Press ENTER to confi rm the selection.
Note:
If the player freezes when an incompatible USB unit is connected, turn off the player,
disconnect the power cord from the socket and disconnect the USB unit from the
player. Restart the player. The player will continue to function in the standard way.

7.3. PLAYBACK FROM MP3/MPEG4 DISCS
Insert an MP3/MPEG4 disc into the player and the menu with contents will appear on
the screen.
MENU CONTROL:
Use the arrow keys [

]/[

] to select a folder or fi le and press [ENTER] to enter the
selected folder or play the selected fi le. Numerical buttons can also be used to select
a folder or fi le.
