Safety
WARNING!
Risks associated with batteries!
Improper handling of batteries could pose a risk to your
health.
–
Never expose the batteries to excessive heat, such as
sunlight, fire or similar – increased risk of leakage!
–
Batteries may pose a risk to health if ingested. You
should therefore store the batteries so that they are
not accessible for small children. If you suspect that a
battery has been swallowed or otherwise incorpora-
ted, seek immediate medical attention.
–
Promptly remove an empty battery from the battery
compartment. Otherwise it could leak. If a battery
has leaked, avoid contact with your skin, eyes and
mucous membranes. In the event of contact with
battery acid, immediately flush the applicable areas
with plenty of clean water and consult a physician.
–
Do not throw batteries in fire. They could explode or
release toxic vapours.
–
To prevent batteries from leaking, do not charge
them, do not disassemble them and do not short
circuit them.
–
Take the batteries out of the battery compartment as
soon as they are empty.
–
Only use batteries of the same type (see chapter
“Technical data”).
–
Do not use old and new batteries in combination
