Insert the mains plug of the universal setting cable into the plug socket.

Press the up and down buttons simultaneously to select the desired
operating mode:
a) For 4-wire drives (no radio):
b) For 5-wire drives with radio/SMI: /SMI
Remove the mains plug of the universal setting cable from the plug socket.

Connect the connection wires of the drive with those of the universal
setting cable, matching the colours.
Reinsert the mains plug of the universal setting cable into the plug socket.
Set the drive according to the corresponding setting instructions.

7. Disposal
The universal setting cable contains electrical components that must be disposed of
as electrical waste. Do not dispose of the universal setting cable with household
waste! Observe the national laws and standards when disposing of the universal set-
ting cable. Dispose of the universal setting cable via the local collection points for old
electronic devices.
