Appendix E - Advanced network settings

NETfon SIP - Administrator Guide 723142009-A0-GB

The Differentiated Services Code Point (DSCP) operates on RTP packets; based on DSCP code, RTP
packets are subject to the policy of assigning priority, shown and described in RFC2474.

To enable/disable and configure DSCP, see following table

Sequence of operations from the phone menu

NOT APPLICABLE

Perform a login to embedded WEB server from browser, entering the IP address of the phone

Enter the administrator’s password (default “1234”) and click LOGIN button

Select the link <

Advanced setup

Select the link <

QoS

Select the link <

Extended QoS Settings

enable/disable

the parameter “

DSCP/Tos Priority

” select Yes/No respectively.

To assign a priority to the parameter “

DSCP

” enter a possible value (from 0 to 63).

To send the customization, click on

Apply

button.

To exit the WEB Server, click on

Logout

button.
