8. Appendix A - Parameters list of phone’s local menu

WARNING!

Configuration from local programming menu or embedded WEB server are

stored in the

local configuration

on the phone (not on the server), while configuration from

<first

account number>

.cfg files are

stored on the server

and when you restart the phone these

files are downloaded and used in place of the local configuration file.

8.1. <SETTINGS> menu

Press menu/enter buttons and scroll the menu up to

SETTINGS

menu.

Enter the administrator’s password (default “

1234

”), when required, and press menu/enter button to

confirm.

The following table explains the SETTINGS menu.

With UP and DOWN arrows it is possible to scroll the following options:

Menu options

Descriptions

IP Netfon Address

IP Address of the phone to be recognized by the system where the phone is connected
to.

Subnet Mask

Subnet Mask that, togheter with the IP Address of the phone, identify the network to
which the telephone is connected to.

DHCP

Enable/disable the automatic configuration of the network settings.

Gateway IP Address

Gateway IP address to reach the Call Agent correctly.

TFTP server Address

IP Address of TFTP server from which download the configuration file and the firmware
of the phone (see

Software loading

Display Mac Address

Display the MAC Address of the phone to be recognized by the system where the
phone is connected to.

Software loading

Allows the upgrade of the firmware from TFTP server whose IP address is configured
in

Handset volume

Speaker volume

Ringer volume

Ringing tone
