7.2.3 Communication type
The equipment can store readings from time to time and send them to a
computer or store them in an USB memory pen drive.

Set the readings storing mode:
• RS232:
Send the temperature readings to a computer by a serial
cable (DB9 connector).
• USB:
Store the readings in the internal memory and download
later to a USB

Select with
the register time interval or the
data sending.
«MODE»
Select the data to be stored:
• Start:
Save all temperature readings.
• Set point:
Save temperature readings, since the set point temperature
has been reached.
«USB»
Update firmware.
Note: The system only saves the last process. To save the
process to an USB memory, simply connect the USB to the
connector, and data will send automatically to the USB
memory. A “sent OK” message will appear. If a process is
being performed, this action will be performed after pressing
STOP.
7.2.4 Set the temperature and the temperature
alarms
It is recommended to verify calibration of temperature with some regularity
(for example, annually) by using for instance a thermometer or a temperature
pattern.
If it is necessary to correct the reading as a result of a calibration, one must
enter a correction.
To do this, press on the temperature menu.
A box indicating the current correction value appears.
Adjust with keys
until you get the indicated value on the tempe-
rature pattern.
Applied correction will appear in brackets.
7.2.4.1 Temperature alarms
By pressing successively on the temperature correction box, one may enter
an over-temperature and a low-temperature limit. Both alarms activate only a
message on screen, if the temperature is outside the limits.
7.2.5 Temperature units
Press on the temperature units menu. Press successively to change between
Celsius or Farenheit degrees. It is also possible to change the ramp units de
ºC/min or ºC/hour.
7.2.6 Set language
Press on the language menu. Press successively on the box to select among
Spanish, French or English.
Adjust by pressing on the Increase and Decrease icons.
