10) CALIBRATIONS
Calibrations procedure
Following description is for calibration procedure, for offset signal and gain signal.
The offset calibration (set.up 704) should be performed in case of complete or partial sw reflashing , or in case the measurement
in no load circuit are different from “0”. The calibration is not required in case of pcb replacement (boards are just Factory cali-
brated) or first customers setting.
The gain calibration (set.up 701) should be performed only if the real output parameters exceed the maximum tolerance admitted
(± 2,5% maximum rated welding current).
10.1) Offset calibration (set-up 704)
Lets you calibrate the system.
Short circuit the system’s and connectors.
Enter set-up by pressing the encoder key for at least 5 seconds. Select the required parameter (704).
Press the encoder knob to perform calibration.
Repeat the calibration process if you update the software (DSP).
Repeat the calibration process if you change the control card (DSP).
10.2) Voltage calibration (set-up 702)
Lets you calibrate the system.
Enter set-up by pressing the encoder key for at least 5 seconds. Select the required parameter (702).
Press the encoder knob to perform calibration.
Use a tester to read the real voltage value.

TAR = 35V
Turn the encoder knob of the machine until clamp meter display 35V. Press the encoder button to end calibration.
