reception is displayed (for 5 seconds) in step 2

Second hand: Reception result
(successful / failed)

The second hand and indicator
hand display the reception result.

The second hand displays the result of the GPS signal
reception (time adjustment or time zone adjustment).
The indicator hand points to “1” or “4+” which shows
“time adjustment” or “time zone adjustment”.

The second hand displays the
result of the leap second data
reception (successful / failed).
The indicator hand points to “0”
when leap second data reception is
occurring.
